(Denver, CO) – The Denver Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) recently announced that Environmental StoneWorks was the recipient of their 2017 Corporate Growth Award. The award was presented to and accepted by Chuck Stein, president of Environmental StoneWorks, at the 2017 Rocky Mountain Corporate Growth Conference in early April.
Each year, the Corporate Growth Award is given to a company headquartered in Colorado in recognition of excellence in growth strategies. The winning company must show growth in revenue and profits over the past five years. Additional award parameters include unique strategies surrounding their market, growth, customers, or products, social responsibility, and community involvement.
“(Environmental StoneWorks) rises above all entries for their excellent management and long-term strategic execution on their growth plans,” said Joanne Baginski, Partner at EKS&H and chair of the corporate growth awards committee. “(They) truly represent the spirit of these awards and their commitment to corporate growth in Colorado.”
ACG Denver is the “premier business association in the Rocky Mountain region that offers access to expert people and essential resources that help drive middle-market growth,” according to their website. The Denver Chapter includes representatives from companies, private equity, finance, and professional service firms, and helps Colorado business owners and senior executives “navigate the growth business community through valuable content, best-of-class resources, capital formation, and networking connections with an influential community of executives.” On a national level, ACG serves 90,000 investors, owners, executives, lenders, and advisors to growing middle-market companies via 59 chapters and 14,500 members around the world.
